This was taken at another Bandon get together. We bribed the seagulls with food and they hung around to give us some photo ops. :) They're so curious and unafraid....as long as there is the opportunity to get more food.
Today has been so warm and beautiful. My grandson is here (6 year old Kaleb) and he and his dad have been bike riding, fort building, ice cream eating, and are somewhere on the docks now..watching our July 3 fireworks over the bay. Tomorrow night the city does their display. Also over the bay.
I'm staying home and keeping my boys (dogs) from being frightened of the noise. :)
That's been my day. Not much going on here.

Nita - this is a great pic. I'm glad that the gulls cooperated with your photo taking. They are fun to watch but sometimes they can become agressive! I've seen it at our beach in Md.
Sounds like your grandson and son had a wonderful day. My goodness, they did a lot of things.....and fireworks too! I would love to see fireworks as you described over the water. I bet they are just beautiful!
Have a great 4th of July! And be safe.
This is a great capture of the gulls. They seem to be waiting for you to shoot their photos.
Great picture...we used to feed the sea gulls when we lived in Santa Barbara, but after a while, they would not leave....! But great fun, and a great pix.
Happy 4th to your and your family.
