Sunday Evening

I decided to drive out to the beach and try to catch a sunset Sunday evening. I took a few pictures, I've posted two, but then saw a dog that looked lost.

This sweet Border Collie walked up to my car, panting, and asking if I knew where he might find his family. He was in the middle of a large parking area, so I drove on to where cars were parked along the jetty. None knew who he belonged to, but one lady had water in a cup. A man found the phone number on his tags, but no one was home.

I spent the better part of the beautiful sunset driving around looking for a pet owner who looked like he'd lost his best friend. I didn't find anyone in the camping area, so drove back to the jetty to report in.

When I left, he'd settled in with a family who had a young boy about 6. They were piling wood for a fire on the beach, dog and boy getting acquainted. I'm counting on it being a happy ending.

And I didn't get one picture of the dog. lol

The beach was filled with lovers, families, kids, old folks...most cozying up, waiting for that special time when the sun ends its watch and fills the sky with glory.

Gorgeous sunset. I sure hope the dog finds his family or gets a new one.

I LOVE your before and after tigers. Amazing stuff. You are learning a lot looks like.
