I have a little white fence around the flower garden. It sometimes tilts, and I try to hammer it back down without breaking it. When I look out my kitchen window I can either see what's wrong, or what's right. :) I look past my leaning fence and spy the little Mexican Poppy (?) peeking from its corner of the bed. My sister's Pastor and his wife gave this to her for Mother's Day. We found a spot, and I planted it so it could have a place of honor. (I tell all my plants that. They believe me.)
I used my photo editing program to try to create a drawing of the Mexican Poppy and the Little White Fence.
It looks gentle and unassuming and pastel. I think I've always been living pastel. Sometimes I think there are vibrant colors in me, but when presenting to the world, I am pastel. lol
My sister, Faye, is a fantastic photographer. I love her passion for what her camera sees. She finds incredible beauty in the ordinary, and loves capturing her aging rural area. I want to link to her here. Which is very, very funny because no one but me, and now Faye, even knows this blog is here. But on the far chance that anyone ever sees, I'll have Faye's Fotos.
This blogging is new to me . Faye is my first link! She's always been my first link. :)

I love you too :)
And I love your pastel photo and the drawing you created with it.
I think only sometimes are you pastel. Other times you shout with bright colors. I love you whatever shade of color you are.
This is so pretty!! I love to work with my photoediting programs too. I mainly use Corel Painter plus picasa for little tweaks. I'm so glad I found your blog. sandy
Great blog (I call it a website)!
