Ron's Rose

When my husband, Ron, died, my daughter planted a rose bush for him. We've taken pictures of it every season since then. Today I took a picture, and then decided to play with it a bit. The one rose bloom left was hidden behind thorny stems, low on the bush. The morning rain had left drops of moisture. I stared at it awhile, trying to find a symbolic meaning to life. :)

I went to the house for the camera....played with it a bit using Paint Shop Pro.

Nita - this is just such a beautiful rose. Especially for you.......how lovely.

Thank you for coming to my blog and commenting. You message was so sweet. It appears that we have something in common....we lost our loves. They're waiting for us but we still have things to do here. Our grandchildren keep us grounded, ugh? I especially am waiting for more of them. How about you?

I believe that I found you through Sandy. I feel that I've known her for years. If I were closer, we'd all be great friends!
